Doughnuts, 1st Bdays, and Japanese Food

Got a collective update for this post! Since I don't have much pictures on all 3 events, I thought it would be best to put them all into one post. First being is featuring our friend's very own doughnut shop! B Doughnut is owned by Pin and Brian which we have known for a couple of years now. Great couple that make some pretty great food! Their shop opened up a couple of months ago in Leesburg, so if you ever have the craving for doughnuts and are in the area, definitely give them a try!Devin turns 1! We were able to celebrate our good friends Ray and Joyce's son's bday. It was a great party which included mini games for kids and adults as well. They had the filipino food on deck, music, an awesome balloon guy, a face painter, and a buncha babies. I got to play minute to win it for some money against some of the guys at the party. $$ was on the line courtesy of Joyce's mom so you know I brought my A game! I was able to get to the finals but lost out on 100 bucks. No worries though, I was able to get $20 bucks for 2nd place which ain't too shabby haha.Last but not least is Nasime, a Japanese restaurant that opened up in Alexandria that Tony wanted to checkout. So we doubled dated it up and tried it out! It is a very small restaurant that has a set menu that is always changing, so you eat/have whatever the Chef feels like making that day. It specializes in sashimi, but with our meal we got a mix of sashimi, chilean sea bass, fried pork, and some kaisen. We were able to get the seats right in front, so we can watch the Chef do his thang. If you are into sashimi and Japanese style cuisine, I suggest giving it a try, but I will caution that it is very expensive. It was about $50 per person with a set menu style, which I thought was worth it as all the food that the chef prepared were bomb, especially the chilean sea bass.
