LOS ANGELES PT II
We started our second day in L.A. with a packed schedule with trying to visit Santa Monica, Venice, and Little Tokyo. Of course food in between our adventures haha, well our first stop of the day was Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles for breakfast! This was Jessica and I's first time trying chicken and waffles ever, and I must say it was a great combination. But what i really like the best was the actual chicken. One of the best fried chicken I ever had. I could get just the chicken over and over again. In the car just got to Santa Monica beach, the great thing about Santa Monica is that if you walk 10 minutes down you hit Venice beach! hahahaBeing is Santa Monica made us realize that this was a great place to live, everyone is so active. From running on the beach, to surfing, and doing GROUP YOGA classes on the sand! After laying around at the beach and enjoying the great weather, we walked down Santa Monica until we hit Venice Beach. One thing that made Venice beach so much different, yes you have your beach store fronts, but its the other things. On the opposite side of the beach stores, there are people selling whatever they can make with their bare hands. From paints, to little trinkets, and even trash that is turned into art. There were so many hustles that people had it was crazy. If you ever visit Venice Beach, make sure you bring cash because that was our down fall. There was so many little things that we wanted to buy from the people but it was all cash only. And of course it would be California withoutt.........Street performers, whether its music or stunts, it was all very entertaining. Here's a short video of the guys above performing some of their music, it sounded legit and Jessica ended up giving them some mulaaaaaaaaaaa. HD if you can!http://youtu.be/X4kOy6RKFgE As you walk down further into Venice Beach, we got to the place I have been wanting to see, the outdoor courts! I wish I brought some gear and a bball to shoot around, it was such a beautiful day and being next to the beach, it must be a great experience.Grabbed some bomb Mexican corn on the cob and some ice team and watched a little of of bball and people workout haha. This post has gotten so big for this day, and there is so much more pictures to be posted up for this day, I will actually be splitting up this day into another post! Sorry for the installments but I think it would be better/easier this way. I will try to make part III and IV by the end of this week!.
