LOS ANGELES PT I
Just got back from Los Angelse and it was great trip, overall ate really good and saw some of the sites that L.A. had to offer. It was an awesome trip and definitely gotta come back to the West Coast again, maybe San Fran or Sand Diego next time! We were there a for 4 days but 3 full days in general. So here is the first days installment. I will try to put part II and III by tomorrow or Thursday.Me and Shawtyyy waiting for our airplane to board. As soon as we landed, man we could not predict how long getting our rental car would take. Hertz was so slow! we were literally there for and hour and a half to pick up our car, ended up getting a Chevy Impala and man for a 2013 that car sucked interior and exterior. Once we got our rental we headed to the FIRST place you have to stop in the West Coast, IN-N-OUT!After we got our grub on, we headed to our hotel which was in Downtown L.A., after we got settled in we went and to the closest mall to do a little shopping before Koreatown. The Original Vanilla Ice blended!! bommmmmmmmmbbbbbbbbbb digityThis place actually had the freshest corn dog I have ever hadWe left Glenndale mall to hit up Koreatown for some Korean BBQ dinnerWe hit up this place called Kang Ho Dong Baek Jung, which was one of the highest rated places in Koreatown for KBBQ and mannnnnnnnn was it true. It was so busy that we had to wait for an Hour and 30 just to get a seat for two.Never seen this before, but that yellow stuff is actually eggs and the other is corn with cheese. The grill was legit even with the fire they also has pieces of wood in there!Jessica and I asked what was they are best known for and they guy said Pork Neck, never had pork neck before so we got it a long with some Kalbi. Both was bomb and really good. So here is what I have to say, What makes it different from any other Korean BBQ in VA?:Service was amazing, probably the best service we've had eating at a Korean restaurant, and they were packed, so that means a lot. And they were always around, we never had to flip our meat or worry about a side being overcooked, they were always there. Refills anything we asked for was taken care right there and then. And plus they threw in some soup on the house cause we were from out of town.Food was awesome, I didn't even know pork neck was available and it was delicious and the Kalbi is up there but Soo Wan in Centreville is up there too! Their Ban Chan was legit, from korean pan cakes, kim chee, egg, corn and cheese, and others. They offered a few things we haven't gotten as ban chan in VA.Atmosphere/Feel it was just a nice place overall, from how they cooked their food by using different grills to cook the pork and Kalbi which is great just like Soo Wan. The people were nice, everyone was drinking, loud, families and adults. The basically just did things Better then VA, Better haha. It really was Koreatown..
