DC Challenge! Whooo Hoooo

Saturday was a great day, a full day of new experiences and a lot of walking around DC. This weekend has probably the most I've seen of DC ever since I've live in Va. Need to have a picnic in the law of the national mall soon. We started our day with heading back to the same place we were the day before at truckeroo to the Navy Yard! We entered the DC Challenge, which is a big scavenger hunt all around D.C!TEAM STINKY TOFU! Jessica, Cheryl, Richard, Chi, Ed, Jesse, Terry, and Timmy. BOOM we all had the same shirt just different colors.Ed with his THUG KILLA CALI look before the race.We grabbed some food from the food trucks that were there before everything started. DC slices was the choice.So many teams, I had to capture the many different teams that had costumes. There were so many sweet/clever costumes that I had to share. Enjoy:Of course first team has to be US, TEAM STINKY TOFU:This team and another team had the most clever teams I have ever seen, I PRESENT YOU - TEAMSHARK WEEK - Live ever week like its shark weekDuy, Danny, Duc, and Romesh's teamThis one is my top team for costumes cause it was so clever, at first glance the just seemed like a mixed bunch of people but if you look closely they are all Jim Carrey characters from his movies - Dumb and Dumber, Ace Ventura 1&2, The Mask, Cable Guy, the Riddler:These guys were mad funny, they were carrying around the boombox and Harlem Shaking everywhere.Getting everyone's attention to get the event started, team captains had to come and get the clues for the scavenger hunt.Getting our clues for the 11 things we had to find - Read the clues and find out what it wants us to do, and map out our routes.Scavenger hunt 1 of 10 DOWN! We needed to take a picture with someone in overalls.Scavenger hunt Number 2 down! Find someone in uniform/badge and take a picture with them doing the charlie's angels theme:Scavenger hunt Number 3 - Find someone wearing a shirt that has state not from this area, also the shirt could not be a sport team - THANK YOU GUY WITH OKLAHOMA SHIRT!Scavenger hunt Number 4! Find a famous building, but there will be hula hoops in that specific one they want, and everyone must hula hoop with the famous building in the background:Scavenger hunt number 5: A famous Red sculpture by David Smith, but we had to imitate it in the picture.Scavenger Hunt Number 6: Find someone from the West Coast and show their ID while taking the picture, we had to try to make the shape of the state during the picture:Scavenger hunt Number 7: Find a the Newseums and take a picture of one of the articles displayed that had Good News only while everyone is touching it:Scavenger Hunt Number 8:  Find a statue of any of the 4 presidents in Mt. Rushmore - We ended up going to one of the museums and found little statues of all the presidents haha, very small but it counted!Scavenger hunt Number 9: Find the National theater, during the picture you must take it with another DC scavenger hunt team while doing a famous theater dance move:Scavenger hunt Number 10:  Find the wall of geysersCheryl Racing to the finish line cause she had to poop hahahahaWe were only able to get 10 out of 11 of the scavenger hunt, but we still finished!! whoooooooo TEAM STINKY TOFU.After DC Challenge we headed to Good Stuff Eatery, first time trying this place and their burgers were bomb, BOMB, the pictures did not turn out good sorry!We really liked the Mango Mayo and the Chipotle Mayo. The sriracha mayo was all out so we didn't get to try it and old bay was ehh.Afterward we got some Dangerously Delicious Pies! The blueberry batter pancake pie was my favoriteeeee.
