Beach House 2020

We took our first family trip/vacation since last year. We were suppose to have our first beach/vacation in the middle of March in Florida but that was cancelled due to COVID-19. Since then we have been bunkered at home. Seeing only immediate family from time to time and only going out for necessities.

This was such a much needed trip, for me, to help with my anxiety/worries; for the kids to enjoy the sand and water, and for Jessica to relax and celebrate her bday. We ended up getting a beach house near VA beach (Norfolk) with Jessica’s parents and both her brother’s families. It was honestly cool to see all the kids all together for 5 days just hanging out and playing. Of course we got our Jollibee fix as well, one of our VA beach traditions every time we go. Also quick shouout to Brandon and Victor/Theresa for the Gazebo, was awesome to have when we were on the beach but it flew away twice from the wind cause I didn’t have the right stakes for the sand haha (just bought some on amazon so I’m ready for next time). And a big shoutout to Paulina and Leslie for making Jessica’s bday special with decorations and cake. She really appreciated it all and was a surprise to her.

Overall it was a really fun trip with lots of sun, food, water, poker, and a whole buncha giggles. So enjoy the pictures I took, 80% of them was manual mode, so I am definitely getting more comfortable/better at it.
