The WINdy city
As Jessica and I celebrate our 10 year anniversary together, we found ourselves making a trip to Chicago with some of our close friends. Chi-town, where a great friend of mine, Tim used to live was amazing to see. Jess and I were surprised on how great the city looks, the architecture of the buildings and the art all over the place was one of a kind. It is definitely different from the other cities we've ever been, its clean, does not smell, and the atmosphere is so different. With being a tourist and all, our tour guide Tim hooked it up by taking us to amazing places to see, eat, and DRINK. I definitely recommend going to eat at Girl and the Goat and Lou Malnati's Pizzaria if you are there! Also if you are looking for a nice spot to drink - Three Dots and a Dash is a great looking speak easy with strong drinks. The only thing I regret is that my camera died halfway through the trip and was not able to get the nightlife stuff that we did. We went to some great bars, restaurants, and other random things during the night. I'm glad that I am back on this blog and definitely do not want to ramble anymore, here are some of the photos! The next few pictures are from Girl and the Goat restaurant we went to. It was one of the best food I've had and it did not break the bank. It has small plates that are about $15-20 dollars, we ended up getting a bunch of food and did it family style. If you ever plan on going to go, you will need reservations 1-2 months ahead or try to come as soon as they open!
